Bath Bomb trial #1

I received my citric acid today in the mail, along with two scents - appleberry spice and pumpkin spice crunch. A little more fragrant than I thought, so I need to do this with the windows open.  I mixed 1 cup baking soda, 1/2 cup citric acid, added a little food coloring (I don't have the proper color powders yet) but it works just the same.  I made two large bombs, and two small bombs using plastic molds (my stainless steel molds are not in yet!).  I had a few bubbles and a one fell apart into two pieces, but they will work nonetheless.  I think I like doing this, but I'm going to have to order a larger pail of both baking soda and citric acid if I want to sell/give away as gifts, but I see myself getting into this.  I may try a baby oil bomb tomorrow.

Sorry no pics, my camera is DEAD. I will update when I get access to a camera.

Baby oil bomb sounds interesting. Actual baby oil? That would be amazing for dry skin!
