Not much going on.
Last Saturday, I took Ms. B, Ms. R and Fred to Disney on Ice. It was a good time. Cotton Candy, Popcorn, three coloring books, three pendants....and 50 buck later, but we had PRIME seats for free. I won the tickets on Cincymoms.com (which is now changed...BOO BTW.) But I even had tears in my eyes when the show started and Mickey and Minnie came out on ice. I never got to go to these shows as a kid, (to no fault of anyone). Hell, Fred would not have gone to this show this year if I wouldn't have won the tickets!!!! But seeing the figure skaters....always brings a tear to my eye. So, I think I may look into skating classes for Fred....and myself!
Saturday night, Mr. Randall (aka Chewbacca), Chris, and the Mullens went to the Wilmington Haunted Hollow Ride with the flaming semi's. Yes, semi's on fire, bulldozers on fire and flamethrowers! The bus ride alone is scary....cause you could die. We stood in line (due to much drinking...not me though) for 2 1/2 hours just to get tickets. Last year it was raining, so lines were WAY shorter. But all in all, it was worth it. I got to guzzle a beer before we got in line. The drunk monkeys (excluding Randall and I) were a riot. Mr. Mullen is funny on margaritas!
Sunday- SICK kid, SICK mommy.
The rest of this week has been, uneventful. I think Sunday, we are going to go on an afternoon nature walk. We need to find acorns to feed our squirrels around here- so they will lay off my pumpkins! One has been working on my 36 pounder! Vicious rats with pretty tails....DAMN YOU!
I mowed the entire lawn, broke the 'vacancy' tombstone (repairable), re-organized the garage, and had a 2x4 slam on my fingers and my response was " Ow, Shit!" guess what Fred's response was....." Oh, Shit" funny yes. An hour later, Fred asks " Mommy, what is shit?" I told her it's a grownup word and she's not to say it. Minutes later, I'm in the kitchen cracking up laughing. The first word my Gramma taught me cause she thought it was 'cute', was shit. Here's to you Gramma. I miss you.
